we’re HUMbled you’d care to drop by

Hum of the Earth is a pro bono community arts, financial literacy, and youth-oriented education program.

Our team helps equip local community members (i.e. including reformed criminal offenders, teens & college students, artists, performers, and emerging music producers) for equitable collaboration.

The Mango Jam is a springboard for US-based, emerging musical performers to workshop any & all aspects of collaboration, production, promotion, distribution, and beyond.

Our target audiences begin with economically disadvantaged youth & reformed criminal offenders reintegrating into society, extending to include music students, composers & songwriters, recording artists, audio engineers, producers, and existing NPOs in Western NY — our aim is to consistently provide helpful resources to artists & organizations who desire to interact within our communities via creative collaboration and/or musical expression.

We’re also dedicated to helping aspiring artists, songwriters, and performers to preserve & amplify their musical creations.

Hum of the Earth helps you connect to the people, places, and plans that will support your journey as an independent creative!

our mission has always been locally inspired

What is Hum & why should you care?

The missional scope of our organization is to equip socioeconomically disadvantaged youth populations with beginner-level financial literacy coaching. This program has been developed by Western NY-based champions for entrepreneurial collaboration & equitable artistic creativity — facilitated entirely in an inclusive, trauma-informed atmosphere, with the support of credentialed mental health clinicians, creative arts therapists & instructional speakers.

Our costs are subsidized by ongoing fundraising initiatives & continued partnerships with financially solvent community-based organizations.

At the core of Hum of the Earth's vision, we seek to alleviate poverty & cultivate ongoing economic empowerment for underserved communities throughout the United States, beginning here at home in our backyard of Western New York State.

Key Objectives Under Development for 2024 & beyond include:

a) Establishing accessible & inclusive, trauma-informed group education programming,

b) Providing instruction, resources & mentorship rooted in financial literacy & social/economic reintegration into society for reformed criminal offenders,

c) Offering digital media, business development, and online fundraising services for NPOs/CBOs.

Transforming lives from merely surviving to truly thriving, from endless tears to bottomless laughter, from ashes & dust to beauty and recovery reclaimed.

where there is hum, there is hope
